Located in Gaviota, this small, five acre farm is nestled in a beautiful valley. Tom has a large strawberry field planted and is excited to see how sweet they will be from the warm, inland weather. If getting any sweeter is even a possibility?
Francis Sedgwick willed this majestic six thousand acre ranch in the Santa Ynez Valley to UCSB. Tom was fortunate enough to obtain a long- term lease for Organic Agriculture from the University, and has planted over a hundred varieties of heirloom fruit. Peaches, plums, nectarines, apricots, cherries, apples and table grapes grow in an idyllic setting. Figueroa mountain makes a regal backdrop to the 40 acre parcel nestled in the Santa Ynez Mountains.
